Plan Reviews

Plan reviews decide your next 12 months of funding. We help you prepare the evidence, articulate your needs, and walk into the meeting ready.

Part 1 of 4About

What this looks like

Your plan review is the single most important meeting in your NDIS calendar. Get it right and you have the funding to live the life you want. Get it wrong and you spend the next year fighting for what you need.

We prepare you properly. That means gathering evidence, documenting how you have used your current plan, identifying what needs to change, and practising how to explain it.

We attend the review with you if you want. An extra voice that knows the system, knows your situation, and can translate what you need into language the NDIA understands.

Part 2 of 4What we do

What we do

Preparation before the review, support on the day and follow-up after it.

  • Evidence gathering

Collecting reports, assessments, invoices, and documentation that show what you need and why. The stronger the evidence, the clearer the case.

    In practice

"Your OT and speech therapist can both have reports to us by the 15th. That gives us two solid weeks to review everything together and make sure it all lines up before the meeting."

  • Goal writing

Writing goals that are specific and measurable, worded around your own life and what you want to do. Good goals are easier for a planner to match funding to.

    In practice

"Let's make the goals as specific as we can. 'Improve independence' is hard to fund. What would that look like for you? Catching the train to TAFE on your own? 'Travel independently to TAFE via public transport by July.' The more specific the goal, the easier it is for the planner to match funding to it."

  • Post-review follow-up

After the review, we check the new plan against what was discussed, flag any errors, and start the implementation process.

    In practice

"New plan came through and the therapy line is $3,200 less than what was discussed. That looks like an error, so I'm lodging a change of circumstances today with the meeting notes as evidence. Should be sorted within a few weeks."

  • Current plan review

Analysing how you used your current plan, what worked, what did not, and where the gaps are. This shapes the argument for your next plan.

    In practice

"Therapy funding was fully used by month nine, which shows the demand is there. Support worker hours are sitting at 60% with two months to go, so we can adjust those to match what you're using."

  • Review day support

Attending the review meeting with you. We help you explain your needs, back up your requests with evidence, and push back if the planner misses something.

    In practice

"If a question comes up about overnight hours, we've got the incident reports, the OT assessment, and your GP letter all ready to go. That's what the preparation is for."

  • Internal review & tribunal support

If your plan outcome is not right, we support you through the internal review process. We help prepare the documentation and argument.

    In practice

"If the plan doesn't reflect your needs, an internal review is there for exactly that reason. We gather the reports, put together a clear case, and lodge it. I'll go through each stage with you."
